Q: I’m interested in having you shoot my wedding, what are the next steps?
Contact me! If I’m available on your date, we’ll set up a short phone call,or grab coffee if you’re local so I can get an idea of what you’re looking for and talk you through all the information and pricing. If I’m not available, I’m happy to give you referrals of great photographers who you’ll love too!
Q: How do you pick a location for a session?
I have my favorite spots I like to photograph, but I love collaboration. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome! A good place to start is knowing if you’d like a nature or a city vibe to your session.
Q: What is required to book my date?
40% down along with your contract to book the date. The final 60% is due 30 days prior to the wedding date.
Q: How soon can we see our Wedding or Portrait photos?
Portrait session turn around time is typically 1-2 weeks. Weddings are typically turned around in 4-6 weeks. Preview images are also given within 48 hours after your session.
Q: Do I get all of the high-res edited photos?
All delivered images are full resolution.
Q: What should we wear or bring to our engagement or portrait session?
Keep it Casual!
Whatever you do, please don’t wear matching white shirts and stone-washed jeans. Matching is not cool anymore. Wear something awesome. Go buy a new outfit you feel comfortable in and that makes you feel like a bad-ass.
Ladies,We usually walk around a bit so plan your footwear accordingly. Guys, avoid solid red shirts. Any variation is fine outside of solid red (red plaid,burgundy, red stripes). Layers,prints are great! We want you to look like the best version of yourself.
Q: Can I upload my wedding photos to A:Facebook once I get my online gallery?
Yes! We love Facebook. As stated in our contract, you may use your photos for personsal use only. If you want to share them on Facebook, we’re cool with that as long as you give us some serious photo credit:)
Up to 8 hours. Anything past that, our photos start getting blurry..?
Q: Do you offer albums?
Of course! These albums are custom-designed by us and hand crafted by the best album company in the nation.
Q:I don’t see any formal photos on your website or social media, do you take any family shots at the wedding?
Yes, we take 15-20 minutes immediately following your ceremony for family formals. We don’t like to post those, but we know that your moms and grandmas love them.
Q: Do you travel?
Absolutely and Often! I’m very fortunate to have shot many domestic and international weddings a portraits!
There is no charge to photograph your session within 3 hours distance from Fort Worth. If travel time is greater than three hours, a limited fee will apply.
Please ask for details. We are also available for travel worldwide.
Q: We aren’t sure how to pose for photos. Will you pose us?
I have a very unposed natural style. I will direct you and guide you into poses that create scenarios where you and your fiancée can interact naturally.
Q:What kind of couples book you?
Most of my couples want to enjoy their day and don’t want to be posed or directed throughout it, resulting in a non-intrusive experience. They like the natural feel of my photos and how I capture emotion and expression. My couples basically want to hire me and forget me, so they can genuinely enjoy their day together. They want the story told and don’t want to have to think about it. Of course, we go over the event details and timeline, but after that, they want me to use my ingenuity to document their day with the brand of photography they chose. Documentary style wedding photography defies a lot of human logic and what many wedding articles online condition people to believe. However, my system works beautifully and showcases the raw emotion of the couple’s memorable wedding day. Is it for every couple? No, but if this sounds like you, it could be!
